My Favorite Weddings of 2009-Part 3

As I look back at the weddings I had the privilege to shoot in 2009 what stands out most to me is how well the couples and I clicked, and included me as part of their wedding entourage.
I wasn't just a hired hand, but became a trusted friend.
It was sad to see the day end, and I always got big hugs when I had to leave at the end of their reception.
I love my job!

My Favorite Weddings of 2009-Part 2

This wedding didn't have all the bells or whistles,, but what impressed me was a deep love of family and friends that made this day so special.
Once I arrived at the bride's home they all soon forgot I was there, and I was able to capture some wonderful moments.
The only time they expected a photo was during the formals. I feel it still captured an intimacy between the new couple, even though it was a very traditional pose at the altar.

New Year Gathering

Friends and family gathered together here in Massachusetts and down in Tennessee.
All the kids enjoyed each others company, and I loved photographing them.

My Friend's Family

My friend emailed me a couple months ago, asking if I would do his family's portrait for their Christmas card.
Yeah! I love photographing friends!
Especially ones I've known for a long time.
I photographed his eldest son when he was born.
This day we played at Look Park, in Florence, Mass.
It was a perfect warm, late autumn day to reconnect, and get some great moments together.
I hope we get to do this more often!

Thanksgiving Portraits

Every year my sister wants me to do her family's christmas card photo on Thanksgiving.
I have chronicled the kids' lives for the past 13 years!
I love my family.
This year Thanksgiving fell on the same day as my son's birthday.
I am SO thankful for people in my life!
