Rev.Dr.Peter Ives Day

These photographs are from the Farewell Sunday & Gala Celebration for Pastor Peter Ives and his wife Jenny Fleming-Ives. Peter is retiring this year after 21 years at First Churches of Northampton (combined Baptist ABC and Congregationalist UCC). The town celebrated by declaring June 13th Rev.Dr. Peter Ives day!

Peter is my minister and a wonderful person and friend to me, and my family. He will be greatly missed. I was the Youth Group leader at First Churches when his daughters were young and in it.... 21 years ago! WoW! Now they are grown with kids and careers of their own! Awesome!

I'd Like To introduce myself...

I'm Jenn, I'm a photographer, illustrator, proud mom of two,and I have my own wedding & portrait photography business. I am the shooteer, designer, business manager, and go-getter. I'm a documentary-style shooter, so I don't fuss with big lights, or big productions. I shoot to capture my clients' story, not to make the story up. A lot of people appreciate that way of photographing. I love doing it!
Ever since I was 3 years old I had one goal in mind when I grew up = to be an artist. I went to college and received an associates degree in fine arts & then a bachelor of fine arts degree in photography.

I still go with the motto = "Do what you love to do! No one can tell you you're doing it wrong!"
