This weekend I photographed a great couple.
I am photographing their wedding this June.
It was a great way for them to get to know me, and my shooting style.
I recommend that to all my engaged couples.

Celebrations are always a joy to photograph.
Be it a family gathering, a wedding, or just a bunch of good friends getting together,
there's something so energizing about such an assignment.
It's a reminder that it takes ALL types to make an extended family, a village, our home.

A Daisy Wedding

I love when a couple has a theme,

This bride & groom chose DAISIES as their theme...
this sweet spring flower was used wonderfully.

She's been my biggest fan and supporter over the years.
This year she's going to sell some of my photography on notecards.
I did this series specifically by her request -

Familiar Places

I love going for walks and being inspired by Nature.
Photographing the amazing colors.
Appreciating the beauty.
Having my camera.
It's got to be my new New Year's Resolution =
TO ALWAYS HAVE MY CAMERA WITH ME!
Saw amazing ice in the Miller River,
but no camera.
Saw a flock of little birds fly all over while waiting for my son's bus today,
but no camera.
Saw the cows breathing mist this morning,
but no camera.
This WILL change!
